Results of open call EURIZON Fellowship Program: “Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers” for recipients of financial support

Project EURIZON, funded through the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 871072, launched the open call EURIZON Fellowship Program: "Remote Research Grants for Ukrainian Researchers," aimed at providing financial support to vulnerable researchers in Ukraine. Initially, the budget was set at €1.4 million.
The call was launched on April 1st and closed on May 8th, 2023, with an overwhelming response of 786 proposals received.
Recognizing the exceptionally high number of proposals received and the importance of continuous support for Ukrainian researchers, the Commission has increased the initial budget to €4.5 million.
The evaluation and selection have been completed. All proposers have been informed about the evaluation results for their proposals via email.
Thanks to the substantial budget increase, a total of 65 research projects supporting 324 Ukrainian scientists will benefit from the Fellowship Programme.
